The NTU Quantum Computing Club (QCC@NTU) is a student-driven community dedicated to advancing quantum computing education at NTU. We emphasize strong theoretical foundations, practical skill development, and interdisciplinary exploration through structured workshops, guided research, and sustained mentorship.
QCC@NTU exists to lower the barrier to entry for quantum computing and create a credible pathway from curiosity to capability.

Part of the global Qiskit Fall Fest initiative, Quantum FallFest Singapore 2025 was a five-day, cross-campus programme hosted across NTU and NUS. Designed as an immersive introduction to the quantum frontier, it balanced accessibility with rigor—moving from foundational mathematics to quantum circuits, algorithms, cryptography, and quantum machine learning, with hands-on work using real quantum tools.
The festival convened speakers from academia and industry, featured a panel discussion on quantum advantage, applications, and career pathways, and included a visit to the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT). Most importantly, it brought together students across Singapore’s universities—along with participants from polytechnics and junior colleges—helping seed a collaborative, student-led quantum community. In collaboration with the Machine Learning & Data Analytics @ EEE (MLDA@EEE) club, we run a year-long training-to-project initiative in quantum machine learning. The programme is designed for students with little to no prior quantum background: we onboard them through structured workshops, provide curated resources, and pair teams with mentorship to build the required technical depth.
The objective is end-to-end execution of a research-grade project by year-end—from problem formulation and literature grounding to implementation, evaluation, and professional reporting. This academic year, we currently have two teams (6 students each) working on: “QAOA for Financial Portfolio Optimization” and “Practical Quantum K-Means Clustering.”
